WIKIPEDIA FILM CLUB
Wikipedia Film Club welcomes you to our fifth show with Stanley Kubrick's bitchin WWI film, Paths of Glory. The story of 3 men tried for cowardice in the French army, it stars Kirk Douglas and George Macready's badass face scar. It has French trenches, courtroom action, priest punching and moustaches. Required viewing for any Kubrick fan or really just anyone.
Starting at around 8:30 we'll show a couple of Kubrick's very first short films and then move into our usual show at 9. As always we'll have trivia, jokes, a prize from our Mystery Box (tm), booze, chairs, and you. Bring a friend or six and come see this movie. As always, the show is free to all.
Sample line from the film:
"They have skim milk in their veins instead of blood"
"Then it's the reddest milk I've ever seen!"
Oh yeah.
