R. STEVIE MOORE
(the legendary underground D.I.Y. power-pop hero)
http://www.rsteviemoore.com/
R. Stevie Moore has been recording and releasing his own music for over 40 years. He was born and raised Nashville, Tennessee with his father, bassist Bob Moore.
In 1968, while in his junior year of high school, Stevie began unwittingly carving out his life's work as a home recording monk, learning and honing his DIY craft as he went along.
Moore has made his prodigious output available through his homegrown cassette club, and wise labels across the globe have bestowed limited pressings of his LPs, 45s, and/or CDs to the world. The number of titles released on these combined formats totals 18 [plus the 400+ titles available through Stevie's Cassette Club].
Moore's tour (his first real national/international tour ever!) is being followed by a film crew that is creating a documentary film about R. Stevie and this tour. If you come to this show, YOU COULD BE IN A MOVIE! Cool.
