PERSONAL MONOLOGUES
"Women's empowerment is deeply connected to their sexuality." (Eve Ensler)
This Galantine's Day challenge all your friends to empower themselves through personal storytelling. Grow in your confidence and have a few laughs with us over at the Bishop.
Anyone will be able to perform a monologue, poem, spoken word, comedy bit, or any other expressive form that pertains to their experience as a woman or trans identifying person.
If you need a little help preparing for this event, consider attending the Feminist Student Association's monologue writing workshop: https://www.facebook.com/events/169038670137601/
This Valentine's Day weekend let's celebrate our bodies and shake off all the hate. Let's talk about periods, catcalls, clitorises, hormones, and SEX. Let's get it on. Let's get creative and own our bodily experiences: good or bad.
